About

I’m a PhD Candidate in Organization and Management at Aalto University School of Business.

My research interests include organization and management theory; occupations and professions, technology, public policy, and organizational inequality. I use ethnographic fieldwork to understand how people and groups engage in and give meaning to their daily work practices. Following these interests, my dissertation research is a 16-month ethnography of Finnish school teachers and technological reform in our national educational system.

I’ve received several awards and grants for my research, including a Fulbright Pre-Doctoral Research Fellowship for which I visited Boston College in 2020.

Prior to academia, I worked in public relations and completed BSc and MSc degrees at Aalto University.
